Relax in the open-plan living area with leather sofas, a gas fire, 40-inch TV and DVD player. The large dining table comfortably seats four and sits beside the fully fitted kitchen – complete with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and everything you need for an easy self-catering stay. A chilled bottle of wine waits in the fridge to welcome you on arrival.
The master bedroom features a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room, while the twin bedroom and family bathroom provide relaxed, flexible space for friends or family.

Step through the doors onto your private decking, overlooking the peaceful waters of Kingfisher Lake. With outdoor furniture, BBQ and your own private hot tub, it’s perfect for lazy mornings, summer evenings, or starlit soaks in the fresh Leicestershire air.
The lodge also offers a private fishing area, with complimentary access to all lakes for guests staying at Eye Kettleby Lakes. Whether you’re casting a line or simply watching the water, Chestnut Lodge offers a tranquil space to slow down and recharge.

We like to keep things simple – here are a few details to help you plan your break.
- Changeover days:
Weekly bookings – Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday
Mini breaks – Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday - Deposit: £150 required to secure your booking
- Balance due: 8 weeks before arrival
- Arrival / Departure:
Lodges are available from 3.00pm on your arrival day and must be vacated by 10.30am on departure. - Discounts: 10% discount for one couple using a two-bedroom lodge. 10% off on all food and drink in The Lakes when staying in the lodges and Woodland View
- Smoking: All lodges are non-smoking
- Fishing: Fishing is free on all lakes for lodge residents
