The UK’s largest cheese fair with around 70 artisan cheese makers from Britain and Ireland and almost 300 cheeses to try and buy. Programme of talks, demonstrations, tastings and entertainment. Other food and drinks, wine, cakes, Beer and hot food are available.

Established over 30 years ago the Melton Show is the of the longest running and one of the best days out in the East Midlands. The Melton Days Show offers a mixture of great rides and attractions a wide range of trade stands along with a selection of food and drink to keep the whole family happy.

The event will feature period entertainment, displays of military vehicles and visiting dignitaries. At Quorn station there’s singing and dancing across 3 stages, a real ale tent, shopping village and land army.
2nd June – The Rutland Country ShowRutland Showground – 11 Miles – LE15 7TW
The Rutland County Show is one of the oldest shows in the country and has a very traditional feel with livestock classes, equine showing, heavy horses, show jumping and main ring entertainment as well as a host of other show attractions.
15th – 16th June – Foxton Locks FestivalFoxton Locks – 21 Miles – LE16 7RA
A great day out for all the family set around the famous Foxton Locks. With crafts, Saxons, hands on activities, live music and much, much more! Arena shows, arts and acoustic area, fun rides, exhibits, real ale tent, food village and over 100 craft stalls.

Enjoy everything pie related in Melton Mowbray, including sampling, buying, eating and even learning how to make your own pies. A number of the UK’s award-winning pie makers will be at the event selling their pies including past Supreme Champions of the British Pie Awards.

This August sees the return of the popular summer nights film festival to Belton House. Enjoy a classic film under the stars on Belton’s Oval Lawn with family and friends.

Love Fireworks? Then the Fireworks Champions will dazzle you this summer! 3 professional teams from all over the UK each will have 10 minutes to present their best fireworks display choreographer to music.

The Leicestershire County Show is a two- day annual event, organised by the Leicestershire Agricultural Society. The show celebrates rural life, with livestock and equine classes plus a wide range of family entertainment.

A great day out with a display of vintage and classic cars, vans, motor cycles and scooters in Melton Town centre. There will also be stalls and attractions including competitions and raffle all for the Rotary Club Charity.

Held over a 100-acre site, the Show provides Historical Societies and re-enactments through various forces from several era’s and theatres during the period of 1939-45. From Airmen to Infantry, the Victory Show opens a window in time to the fabulous 1940’s.

Presenting the 17th Annual Beer Festival which will be running at Melton Mowbray Market on all 3 days! With music throughout the weekend and of course lots of beer!

Voted as ‘one of the world’s most interesting food festivals in 2018’ by the New York times and UK food fans will get to chance to discover why when the event returns to Melton Mowbray Leicestershire this October! There will be entertainment and activities for children and families as well as the regular Street Food Zone with hot dishes from around the world and for those who like spirits there will be the best of gin, rum, vodka and whisky produced within 100 miles of the venue.
16th -17th November – Chocolate FestivalMelton Mowbray Market – 3 Miles – LE13 1JY
ChocFest is one of the UK’s most popular chocolate festivals and at this year’s event, there will be some of the finest chocolate and associated food and drink products to taste and buy from some of the UK’s best local producers. Workshops will be bookable in advance nearer to the date of the festival.

Thousands of people from across the country descend of Melton every year to enjoy a slice of Dickensian Britain. The Victorian Christmas Fayre offers a fine choice of gifts, crafts and local produce, with live music and entertainment throughout the weekend.
13th – 15th December – Melton Folk TrailMelton Mowbray Town Centre – 3 Miles – LE13 0PW
The Folk Trail Festival returns to Melton once again with a feast of music, dance, street entertainment, session and sing around, attracting musicians nationwide and filling 15 venues in and around the market square. Come to play or simply enjoying the spectacle of what is proving to be a very popular Christmas event.
