Reception is open everyday 8am till 6pm on arrival and departure days.

Arriving late When the journey does not go according to plan please let reception know and we will do our best to make your arrival at Eye Kettleby Lakes less stressful than your journey.

Getting to Eye Kettleby Lakes

PLEASE IGNORE YOUR SAT NAV – YOU WILL END UP AT A DEAD END LANE Follow the brown tourism signs directing you to Eye Kettleby Lakes From A1 North: Take A607 towards Melton Mowbray. In Melton Mowbray take A607 towards Leicester (Follow out of Melton Mowbray for approx 2 miles). Turn left signposted to Great Dalby & EKL. We are 1 mile along this road on the left. From M1 North. Leave at junction 24. Take A6 towards Loughborough, then A6006 towards Rempstone. 20 Miles will bring you into Melton Mowbray. Take A607 towards Leicester (Follow out of Melton Mowbray for approx 2 miles). Turn left signposted to Great Dalby & Eye Kettleby Lakes. We are 1 mile along this road on the left. From A1 South. Take A606 towards Melton Mowbray. In Melton Mowbray take A607 towards Leicester. Turn left signposted to Great Dalby & Eye Kettleby Lakes.We are 1 mile along this road on the left. From M1 South. Take junction 21a, then A46 towards Melton Mowbray. Take A607 to Melton Mowbray after approx 8 miles turn right signposted to Great Dalby & Eye Kettleby Lakes. We are 1 mile along this road on the left. Our postcode is LE14 2TN -from the A607 please follow the brown tourism signs directing you to Eye Kettleby Lakes rather than your Sat Nav as you will end up at a dead end!

Lodge Residents

Where do I pick up my keys?
Please come to the clubhouse reception, we will provide you with all of the information you need and your keys before you head off to your lodge.

Can we go straight up to our lodge?
No please come to reception first, because during changeover periods we use large machinery to empty and refill the hot tubs.

What time can we check in?
Check in is from 3.00pm but you can arrive a little bit earlier leave your car in the main car park and set up on the bankside to fish or come in and enjoy some lunch in our tearoom. Just let reception know you are here and we will call you as soon as everything is ready for you.

What time do we depart?
We ask for all lodge guests to vacate by 10.30am.

Glamping

What time can we check in?
Check in is from 2.00pm, but if you arrive earlier then head to reception to let us know you’re here.
What time do we depart?
We ask for all glamping guests to vacate the pod by 10.00am. Drop your keys off to reception to check out and your comments forms.
Is fishing included in the price?
Fishing is paid extra, but all mixed coarse fishing lakes are available at a discounted rate. More information can be found on our fishing page or by asking reception.

Touring

Pitches
are made available from 1.00pm on arrival day and you are expected to depart by 12.00pm on departure day.

Can we go straight up to our pitch?
We ask guests to check in at reception to enable us to provide all welcome information and access details.

What time can we check in?
Check in is strictly from 1.00pm, we cannot allow for early arrivals unless if prearranged with reception.

What time do we depart?
We ask for all caravan guests to depart their pitch by 12.00pm.

Fishing

Fishing is FREE for all lodge residents.

Reception is open from 8am – 5pm everyday to collect free fishing tickets. Please dip nets and landing mats before collecting your tickets.

Residents are able to collect fishing tickets the day before if they wish to start fishing from 6.00am.

Day Visitors

Our reception and tearoom opens from 7.30am April – September & 8.00am from October – March. Breakfast is served daily from 8.00am.

Public Transport

In Melton you will find a train station serviced from Leicester or Nottingham. From Melton town centre you can pick up a taxi and get dropped off at the reception. There is not direct bus route to us, but there are plenty of local taxis companies available.

Shopping Deliveries

Why not take the stress out of food shopping for your holiday and order online and get it delivered. All of the below supermarkets regularly deliver to our guests.
