The Lakes Bar & Tearoom is the social heart of Eye Kettleby Lakes – a warm, welcoming space open every day of the week for relaxed breakfasts, light lunches, homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee.
Whether you’re joining us before a day of exploring or settling in after a peaceful afternoon by the lakes, it’s a place shaped around good food, friendly service and the gentle rhythm of countryside life.

Our chefs prepare a selection of homemade dishes daily, from hearty breakfasts (8:30–11:00am) to freshly cooked lunches (12:00–3:00pm) and traditional Sunday Lunch (12:30-3:00pm).
Cakes, scones and sweet treats are baked on-site each morning, ready to enjoy with a locally sourced hot drink or a pot of tea.
From April to October, we also host a relaxed Thursday Quiz Night, open to both residents and the general public – a great excuse to enjoy good food, drinks and a friendly evening atmosphere.

Our outdoor seating is ideal for summer afternoons, relaxed chats with friends and peaceful moments watching the day drift by. As the evening draws in, heaters beneath the parasols help keep things comfortable, making it a welcoming spot for unhurried drinks and conversation. It’s also a lovely place to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine.
