Yes, we strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance to protect you against unexpected circumstances, such as cancellation, illness or other unforeseen events.
Yes. We are open all year round. Reception and The Lakes Bar & Tearoom are only closed on Christmas Day.
Yes! We’re a very dog-friendly site. You can bring up to three well-behaved dogs per touring pitch, or up to two well-behaved dogs per glamping pod, lodge or Woodland View.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate cats.
WiFi is available throughout the holiday park. Touring guests receive 30 minutes of complimentary WiFi each day, with additional access available to purchase.
Complimentary WiFi is included in all lodges and glamping pods. Please speak to reception for further details.

You’re welcome to arrive before your accommodation is ready and enjoy The Lakes Bar & Tearoom, take a relaxing walk around the site or set up for a days fishing. We’ll contact you as soon as your accommodation is ready for check-in.
Yes, visitors are welcome during your stay. Please note that visitors to the touring park and glamping pods must be aged 18 or over. All day visitors must leave the site by 10:30pm.
No. Sign-written vans and commercial vehicles are not permitted anywhere on site.
No, we are not located on a bus route. However, many of our guests use local taxi services to travel to and from the park.
Yes. Melton Mowbray is approximately a 45 to 60-minute walk from the park. Walking maps are available from reception.
Fishing is included for guests staying in our lodges. Touring and glamping guests benefit from discounted resident fishing rates.
No. Fishing memberships are only required for day visitors. If you’re staying with us, you can simply purchase a resident fishing ticket from reception on arrival or at any time during your stay. Please note that a valid Environment Agency rod licence is required before fishing.

Our Northern Site is closest to the clubhouse. The clubhouse is approximately 600 meters from the Southern Site & 300 metres to the Northern site.
No, we do not offer seasonal pitches. The maximum stay on our touring park is 21 nights, subject to availability. Please contact reception for more information.
No, we do not currently have a motorhome service point.
No, we do not offer caravan or motorhome storage.
No, car roof tents are not permitted on site.
Guests are welcome to use BBQs, provided they are raised off the ground to protect the grass. Open fires and fire pits are not permitted anywhere on site.
We do not accept large group bookings, as we aim to maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the park.
No, we don’t hold a fireworks display on site. As Eye Kettleby Lakes is also a working farm, we like to keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing our cattle and other wildlife.

A brick-built BBQ is available to use in the glamping pods all year round. You will need to bring your own fuel. A firepit is available with a starter set of firelighters, logs and marshmallows for toasting! Further products can be purchased from reception!
Yes, bedding and towels are provided. We also provide dishcloths, sponge and washing up liquid.

BBQ and patio furniture is available from 1 st March – 31 st October (fuel not provided.) Use at your own risk.
Yes, bedding, towels and a robes per guest are provided. We also provide dishcloths, sponge, washing up liquid and a few dishwater tablets.
Yes, children are welcome to stay in the lodges and Woodland View Farmhouse.

The main barrier opens at 7:45pm for fishing member. Please come to reception to purchase your ticket and dip your landing net. Fishing is available until dusk.
Members are welcome to have 5-day guests per year.
