Lessons are delivered by our resident angling expert Michael Corker, who caters for all ages and abilities. Sessions can focus on the basics of getting started, improving confidence, refining tackle and rig setups, or developing better understanding of techniques and watercraft.

Set within the peaceful surroundings of our well-stocked lakes, tuition is tailored to your individual needs and experience level.

Michael is a qualified Level 2 Angling Coach with extensive experience working with both children and adults.

Michael began fishing at the age of four, learning the fundamentals of angling alongside his father on local canals. From those early days catching roach, perch and silver bream, his passion for the sport grew through junior and adult match fishing, representing his school in national team competitions and fishing waters across England.

Alongside his angling career, Michael trained in Youth Work in 1994 and spent many years working full time for Leicestershire County Council. He has coached angling both individually and in group settings, combining technical expertise with a calm, patient and encouraging teaching style. Today, he works as an independent youth worker and angling coach and lives locally.

• Weekends: Morning, afternoon or full-day sessions
