Eye Kettleby Lakes is home to eight coarse fishing lakes, including two specimen carp lakes, five mixed coarse lakes, and a private lake reserved exclusively for lodge residents.
With peaceful surroundings, easy access and lakes for all experience levels, it’s a destination shaped for quiet, rewarding days on the water.

Whether you’re targeting big carp or prefer steady mixed coarse action, you’ll find the right water here. Our two specimen lakes offer challenging, rewarding sessions, while the mixed coarse lakes provide relaxed all-round fishing with carp, bream and more.

Fishing is open to the public throughout the year. Day tickets and memberships are available from reception, and gates open at 7:45am for day visitors.
Tickets be can purchased from reception from 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 8am-4pm on Sunday.
All nets must be dipped before fishing, and tickets must be purchased from reception before setting up.

Several lakes offer convenient parking close to the pegs, and there are toilets (including disabled access) near Lakes 2 and 4. Whether you’re here for a quick cast or a full day’s fishing, everything is set up to make your visit relaxed and simple.

- Short walks from parking to pegs on most waters

The Lakes Bar & Tearoom is just a short walk away, serving breakfast, lunch, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks. Takeaway tea, coffee and snacks are also available for anglers on the go.
It’s the perfect place to warm up in winter or enjoy a cold drink in summer after a day on the bank.

Our friendly team are always on hand to help… whether you’d like recommendations for local walks, ideas for places to visit, or simply a relaxed space to unwind with good food and great coffee.
With cosy corners inside, peaceful outdoor seating and a welcoming atmosphere all year round, The Lakes Bar & Tearoom is a place to slow down, enjoy the moment and make yourself completely at home.
Membership & Tickets:
- Membership: £15 per person (age 16+)
- Tickets must be purchased from reception before setting up
- Reception is open 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 8am-4pm on Sunday
- Nets must be dipped at reception (minimum 1 minute)
- No keep nets allowed on any lake
Opening Times
Residents:
- 6am – sunset (BST)
- 7am – sunset (Autumn/Winter, GMT)
Members (Day Visitors):
- From 8:00am (April – September)
- From 8:00am (October – April)
- Until sunset
All anglers age 16 and over require membership to fish.
Membership is £15 per person.
When joining, please provide:
- Driving licence or passport (ID)
- Rod licence
(Copies can be made in reception)
Juniors (15 and under)
Must be accompanied by an adult member at all times.
Residents
Lodge, touring and glamping residents have fishing membership included.
All anglers require membership (except residents).
Lakes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:
- One rod: £10
- Two rods: £12
- Concessions: £7 / £9
Lake 2:
- Two rods: £13
(No concessions)
Parkland Lake:
- Two rods: £14
(No concessions)
Rates are per day.
Touring & Glamping Guests
Lakes 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7:
- Adult: £7.00 (two rods)
- Concession: £6.00 (two rods)

Lodge Residents
Fishing is free.
Tickets must be collected from reception.
