The open-plan living area is designed for comfort and time together, with soft leather sofas, a 40-inch TV, music system and DVD player for cosy evenings by the fire. The dining area seats six, while the fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and all the utensils and crockery needed for an easy self-catering stay. A chilled bottle of wine is waiting in the fridge when you arrive.
The master double bedroom includes an en-suite shower room, while the two twin bedrooms share a large family bathroom. Each room features solid wooden furniture and warm, inviting décor – perfect for restful nights after a day by the lakes.

Step onto your private decking to enjoy the supersize outdoor hot tub, rattan furniture, and BBQ area overlooking the surrounding woodland. It’s an ideal spot for relaxed summer evenings or quiet mornings in the fresh countryside air.
Guests can also enjoy free fishing on Kingfisher Lake, just a short walk from the lodge, making Oak Lodge a popular choice for families and fishing friends alike.

We like to keep things simple – here are a few details to help you plan your break.
- Changeover days:
Weekly bookings – Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday
Mini breaks – Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday - Deposit: £150 required to secure your booking
- Balance due: 8 weeks before arrival
- Arrival / Departure:
Lodges are available from 3.00pm on your arrival day and must be vacated by 10.30am on departure. - Discounts: 10% discount for one couple using a two-bedroom lodge. 10% off on all food and drink in The Lakes when staying in the lodges and Woodland View
- Smoking: All lodges are non-smoking
- Fishing: Fishing is free on all lakes for lodge residents
